The sky was a bit overcast on 6.7.2009 but the atmosphere in F block assembly hall was far from it.The bright faces portended a fruitful year ahead.The above are some snaps taken at the Inauguration of Students Union 2009-10.

Golden Wings!

The logo of SU 2009-10 has been put on display near the entrance of the college.The tagline "yeS it's for U" may sound a a trite simple but nonetheless makes the purpose of SU clear.Now that the gauntlet has been laid,it is upto the latest SU team to remove all the prevailing blackness in the logo(and everywhere else) and emboss it completely with Gold!

You see "Ayudha Ezhuthu" the umpteenth time in DVD and sleep off.Your dreams are full of abstruse images.Students ruling the world.Students governing themselves and everyone else.Students as The Next Big Things.You envisage a PM with an age less than Dhoni's average in the T20 world cup.Next morning you wake up to harsh realities.Karunanidhi is still the CM.Wheelchair is still the CM's refuge.Pratibha Patil's face looks like a fossil unearthed in an archaeological expedition and she is our President.This diminutive woman is the commander-in-chief of the three defence wings.You heave a deep sigh and get ready for your chore.A dull day of college ahead.

And inside the campus you are awestruck at what you see:Students getting the flex arrangement right.Students exhibiting amazing calligraphy in the notice board.Students arranging the chairs in the Quadrangle.Students organising events.Students running the place.You feel proud to be a student of this amazing institution where students turn into professionals and education turns into enlightenment.PSG tech is a marvel where lecturers get nothing but money and students get everything except money.Abraham Lincoln gets corrected politely in Peelamedu:PSG Tech is of the students,for the students and by the students.
